Hello all!
My name is Jorden Amir, I’m the founder and lead instructor of The What If? Studio.
You are the next generation of Broadway. Giving you the space to hone your craft allows maximum growth, and I'm here to help you explore your passion for an art you can find a lifetime career in.
My lessons with students are designed around individual strengths and needs. At our initial lesson, figuring out where your experience and needs lie will help shape all future lessons. Throughout your future lessons, we’ll be discussing their intention behind each acting choice, picking the best songs for your voice, among other things. Regular practice and preparation outside of lessons are essential for their growth - whether preparing for auditions or simply improving their skills, memorization and additional character study outside of our lesson times is essential.

Lesson Payments

There are 3 lesson tiers:

30 Minutes: $50
-
45 Minutes: $65
-
60 Minutes: $85

If you would like to schedule a longer lesson, we can work on a case by case basis.

Siblings with back to back lessons will receive 20% off one of the lessons.

Payments will be due every 4 lessons, at the end of the month.

Late payments will incur a 10% late fee.
Cancellations/Make-Up Lessons

If you miss 2 lessons per month without make-up times, you will be required to pay for one of them.

If you need make-up lessons for more than 2 in a month without reasoning, you will be subject to a 10% fee per lesson.

Day-of cancellations with no explanation are subject to a 50% fee.

However, cancellations and make-ups generally are on a case by case basis - if there are extenuating circumstances we will work together to figure out the most financially viable solution.

If you or I are sick, we will make-up a lesson without having to worry about accruing fees.
Schedule

We will follow the public school system schedule - we will be off on major holidays and school breaks, but if you’d like to schedule a lesson during those times, we can figure out what works best.
Practice Expectations and Student Responsibilities

You are expected to study and work on the material between lessons. Memorizing songs and doing any exercises or assignments given to help you improve will be checked over at the next lesson to keep us on track.
